No.6 Daily

No. 6 is a shop in New York opened by vintage collector Morgan Yakus and stylist Karen Bereson.  They feature a large selection of European and American vintage pieces as well as carefully selected pieces from a range of independent contemporary designers. If that didn't sound amazing enough, the space also houses music and art events organized by artist Duncan Hamilton.

This is without a doubt my dream shop, to shop from and to one day own. Their blog highlights some of the gems for sale using understated, street photography. Here are some of my favorites:

Deyrolle pour opening ceremony

 I love the lookbook for Deyrolle pour Opening Ceremony shot in the Historic Taxidermy shop in Paris. Bastien Lattanzio is the photographer for the shoot and photographed the prints for the clothes. Taxidermy shops usually give me the creeps but there is something really beautiful about all those displayed insects behind glass.

I've been collecting vintage scarves for a while now with the assumption that I will one day be an elegant and effortless scarf wearer (you know who they are). Currently all my scarves drape around coat racks and clothes hangers collecting dust. Well, no more! Each scarf is like it's own beautiful piece of art and it's time to let them be seen. I'm currently taking inspiration from these lovely ladies who have mastered the head scarf.
